This is a couple of pics of my last JK at the dealership for sale after my mods. Bushwacker Flat Fenders, VDP stubby bumper end caps, 2.5" suspension lift and 35" tires.

I will be doing the same to the JK I just bought.

Yes JeepKeeper they are the factory its cheaper. I did this on my first jk this was back in 2010 they didn't make end caps same with the fenders not many options back then. I actually like the look and the durability of the factory fenders over and other aftermarket plastic fender.

Thanks for the pictures. I bought some plastic fenders and did all the trimming, spray painting and added the door trim.

Just don't know how I should tackle taking the my color matched fenders off...

Start by buying some extra clips from ebay.

Is a sawzall the preferred tool for cutting stock fenders? If the fenders are color matched will they chip?

When I first bought my '13 it lasted about 2 weeks before I chopped the fenders. I ran stock bumpers for a while and this is what it looked like:

This was with 35's and no lift. It's the only photo I have.
