Engine is hesitant and sputters

I started up y engine today after not driving it for 3 days and it's is sputtering a lot. When I accelerate it is really hesitant and sounds like little farts in the engine. In the past it hasn't lasted as long as it has, I just warm up the engine a bit and it goes away but now it lasted all the way to school. I hope it's not too serious and any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe needs a tune-up?

Gas-x or beano? My sons 4.0 started running bad and his mileage started sucking and after a cap and rotor and plugs and plug wires it was all good

how many miles and when has it been tuned. Thats where I'd start too.

Need more info from original poster like when's the last time u wheeled it when did this start happened how many miles on oem plugs and wires that kind of thing


I don't always wheel , but when I do I keep it tight......... Stay dirty my friends.
