YJ wheels

Friend of mine has a YJ with a 2.5 inch lift I think it's rough country she wants to get new wheels she's lookin at 15x10 with 4.5 back spacing are these wheels correct? the lift said to run 3.75 but I always thought 4.5 was the magic number

She should be ok with 4.5 BS, something like 3.5 would give it more of an "aggressive" look IMO

The issue with too much back spacing on a Yj is the tread will rub the leaf springs a hard turn. You could adjust the steering stops but that would limit turning radius. I'm running 15x10 with 4" back spacing and adjusted the stops a little. I still have good turning radius. Big factor also would be tire size and style. Bigger shoulder lugs, the more the contact will be against the springs.
