Was looking at the Tom Woods but afraid of the u joint issues they seem to have. Seems like there are less DC rear shafts out there for the TJ Rubi than there are for JKs. Anyone have an opinion or experience with this JE Reel shaft?

Tango in advance......

JE Reel Rear Driveshaft With 4-6" Lift

Fits:
2003-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon

Product Information:
JE Reel Driveshaft Includes a new Yoke flange assembly. The Yoke flange replaces the factory harmonic balancer found on the NP241 Rock Track transfer case in the Rubicon models. The new Yoke is shorter than the harmonic balancer thus it allows a longer driveshaft. The longer driveshaft reduces the operating angle of the u-joints for smoother on-road operation.

Years Covered:
2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006

Alternate Part Numbers: 31TJR-1558

Exactly the way I'm leaning. TW seem to have issues from what I read. Reel is the way I'm going...

The only cool part about a tom woods driveshaft is the slightly offensive sticker you get with it!

"My shaft's a woody"

My ride- 2001 power wheel, 11" plastic tires, upgraded battery, boat sides, custom bumpers, tow hooks, new paint.
