New Soft Top for summer

I am looking to buy a soft top that is relatively cheap and has tinted windows. The only thing is that my JK came with a hardtop, do I need to buy certain stuff to accomodate the soft top or do I just put it on? Ive never really used a soft top so I'm kindove a noob to this :crazyeyes:

Before I bought my soft top from another member here i watched this video a few times. It helped a lot with knowing all the pieces that is needed for the soft top.

If it comes with all the hardware you don't need anything else.

Hardware like Overlander says and also all the door surrounds. If you find a top for sale, find out which yr and then go online for parts list and install instructions. That should help you make sure nothing is missing.

I did this when I bought my 2013 soft top and discovered many folks forget about the brackets on the rear roll bars. I made sure to bring the proper tools to remove so I got everything.

Watch all the classifieds sections and you can find a good deal.

If buying one used, I would show up topless and put it on to make sure you have all the parts.

Spend a little more and get Bestop. Its Trektop comes with all the hardware. Expensive yet can be a good investment.
