Well I made a quick trip down to Montana to pick up the new 40x13.5x17 Toyo's on my first day off this shift, I cant wait to get them mounted on my new Walkers. I also received an email that my Rear PR60 should be shipping around Aug,10th, The front has been here for about 2 months now and the wait is killing me....

They make the old 37's look really small.

Roughly how much are those running compared to the $600 for the 40x20 Toyos?

The first cost I was sent was $468, by the time I ordered they had changed to around $515. Not sure where the cost mistake was but I wanted them.Since they are not going to be released in Canada anytime soon I ordered them and picked them up in Montana (Thanks Clarsen for the info) We get screwed on the cost of tires up here so I had no issue taking the time to drive down an pick them up.

Yeah, I believe dynatrac got a huge government contract that was a really big and on a tight deadline. They are doing as good, or better, than all the other aftermarket guys at keeping a good turnaround time on custom builds! Cant wait to see what your gonna do here :thumb:

Yea I know what you mean about getting screwed on tires. Being in Hawaii hurts sometimes. Luckily Amazon is still on par, just picked up a new set of 37 Toyos with free ($6.99 ea) Shipping! Wish they had the 40s on there I would have got those instead!! :drinks::drinks:

You guys think you getting screwed on tires, you should come to my side of the pond I pay like $450 for 33" tires

What size lift would you need to fit 40s a 4" seems not to be enough?

I'm currently running the 4.5RE kit , and I'm ready to change it but will need to wait for a year or some once the PR60's are installed . I will install a 1" spacer if I need a little more ,but want to stay as low as possible .DTD is in my future ....

Those are some nice meats. I really need to hop on my JK build so i can get off the sidelines.

On a side note: How's the RE kit? I've run them on nothing but Cherokee's and had good performance out of them.

I personally have not had any issues and it has worked well for me over the last 4 years or so. I have not had to change the bushings yet but will be when the new axles are installed. If I was going to do it again ,I think I would have waited for the Terafelx kit, but the RE was at the shop so that's what I went with.
