Rancho vs Bestop

From what I have found from researching tube doors it seams like either Rancho or Bestop are the way to go. The Bestop doors are only cheaper and have more options, and I like the Metal skins like EVO 1 has, but from what I have read it sounds like the Rancho's might fit a little better, thought I could get on here and ask for the Pros and Cons for both.

I have Rancho tube doors and like them a lot but, I wouldn't hesitate to run a set of Bestop. Both are great options.

i have the best top soft doors and they are nice. the thing i dont like about them is how they fit. i cant for the life of me get the uppers to fit flush or even snug so if its raining and im driving the upper part of the door will pull out and away. its a pain in the ass so i never run the uppers. if i had to do it again i would get the ranchos and have some metal skins made for them

From what I have read that seams to be a common problem with the uppers, and having skins made for the Rancho's isn't a bad idea.

since i already have the best top ones i may look into having a skin made for the lowers. this could be an option for you as well if you like the skin idea better.

I know you have been running the Rancho's for a few years, and the fact that you still like them says a lot. Have you had a chance to try out the Spyder Shades for them yet?
That make them in several colors including white to match Moby, and orange. Not sure if it's Dozer, so might not match Rubi Cat, but they come in black, gray, and tan to.

You can buy metal skins for the Bestop doors. EVO1 runs Bestop doors with metal skins. You can even get them color matched if you want.

This is route I'm eventually going to go. I have a friend that has the skins. They look really nice and are inexpensive. Probably be 2-3X as much to have something fabbed for the Rancho doors.

Of course, this is where it sucks to have a 4 door -- twice as much for the doors.

Ah, I wasn't aware. Thanks for the link. I just looked up the Element doors, those are pretty nice! I had the Bestop 2 piece soft doors. They were great quality built and had no issues with the uppers leaking, but the rain would sometimes soak through the upper fabric. Still, did a great job of keeping everything out.

Last weekend I ordered the Rancho doors with the Spiderweb Shades. I was going to go for the Bestop but when I saw these I was sold.
