NAV system "crashes"

Got a 2014 Rubicon and love it, but the NAV system will occasionally "lock up" when I try and use the bluetooth function with my phone. When this happens there doesn't seem to be a way to reset it without turning off the entire Jeep and waiting for the system to quit (even removing the key, exiting and locking it won't shut it down). Is this a problem anyone else has run into? It's about time to get some service done and I suspect a simple software update will probably fix this issue, but is there any other way to re-boot the nag system without shuting everything down?

I have the same issue you are having (12 JKUR). I took mine to the dealer and had the software updated but it still happens. I'd be interested to hear what you come up with.

try flashing the unit

You could flash the head unit with a new firmware. Use a USB stick in the heads usb slot and the lastest firmware from here:

take a look around to get the right version and info or you will trash your head unit and have to revert to manufacturer reflash.
