Help me choose a new camera.

I've been having some trouble with my Canon XTI lately and have been thinking about getting a new camera. Not necessarily a dSLR but something along the lines of a Cybershot HX50V or similar that takes both good HD video and stills. Not really looking for interchangeable lenses so something with a good OPTICAL zoom is needed.

Anyone have any new favorites or cameras they've had great luck with that they'd buy again if they needed to replace their current ones?

Checkout the Samsung NXMini. It's getting great reviews. Also the Sony NEX/7 series is nice also. Both are using newer technologies, making them really flat. You can also get interchangeable lenses too.

I use the Panasonic LX-5, which has served me well for 5 years now. Great video off of it, and it's my DSLR backup.
