Can't decide: On-board or portable Viair setup?

Caught the Bug
As the title states, I'm stuck deciding between a portable Viair 400P kit and the ADA 400C kit that would be installed as on-board air on my 2014 Wrangler.

I've done some searching, but still looking for some current opinions and suggestions. Also, I know the ADA kit is specific to the 2012 Wrangler and there have been issues with the supplied mounting bracket interfering with the brake lines. Are folks successfully installing this kit in 2013/2014 Jeeps and what is required to safely set it up?

Thanks! :)

I have an onboard so I recommend onboard. It is convenient and i won't accidentally leave it at home. ;)

The 400 ADA fits fine on the new ones if you have the 2012+ bracket. Picture attached shows it on my 2013. If you are interested let me know, I switched to the small arb for my lockers and going power tank so planning to sell this one. With my 37s this thing was pretty well maxed out. I cut the harness to attach to my sPod but only cut one wire, can splice it back together in minutes.
