Exactly what bearings are you referring to? The ones on the transfer case itself or the ones in the rzeppa joint? Either way, the ones on the transfer case shouldn't need changing for a really long time if ever during the life of your Jeep and the ones on the rzpeppa joint are not serviceable. Assuming you are still running a factory shaft, you should use the opportunity to replace your drive shaft.

We'll I'm tracking down a noise and it's very close as I hear it in that area. It a rotation noise (if that make since) I have Adams drive shafts front and rear. I replaced my wheel hubs a few months ago with moog. I plan on taking off the front drive shaft to see if that's an issue. But I don't remember having that noise after I put them on.

Is it possible to get mud inside that bearing? I buried my jeep in mud and I'm wondering if that's what happened.
