Who all pulls light weight campers and what kinds and what mods have you done to your Jeep Wrangler 2 door JK. I am going to pull a 16 foot Scamp with my 2 door. :)

Not sure I would pull a 16ft camper with a 2 dr JK. The stopping weight required for the trailer might exceed the weight of the JK. Look at the weight of the trailer and maxium towing capcity of the JK to see how close they are. Also remeber the trailer weight is dry and empty. Figure another 500-600 lbs for a full trailer.

Looks like the 16ft comes in around 18-2000 pounds, so figure about 2500 pounds...thats a pretty heavy load for a 2dr JK, but probably possible. I don't think I'd recommend it either. It might pull it but it will be a dog.

I pull a 14ft pop up-ish camper, with manual and 3.21 with the 3.6. The trailer weighs around 1200lbs. It works, sways a touch when reaching past 100 km/h. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1412143731.444453.jpg

Our 1983 Burro 13' travel Trailer.
No trailer brakes, not required, weighs in at 900 pounds fully loaded.
We're heading out again for a long weekend real soon.
Fits my us perfectly, us two and our 65 pound English Bulldog.
