Lights in the Auto Console?

I have a crazy question, when you turn on your dash lights, do you have lights in the console for the gears on a auto? I could have swore my lit up before, but this morning I didn't see any light around the gear letters, just my cup holders were lit up. Now I'm confused if I had any to start with.... there goes that 57+ mindset again.....
