I am going to be putting in a new rear drive shaft this week and was wondering if I need to relocate me EVAP or just give it some better protection?

IF you're going to do anything, I would relocate it as that'll for sure get it out of harms way. Otherwise, I would just leave well enough alone. In all the 8 years I've been wheeling my JK's, I've only had 5 instances where I've knocked one off totally unprotected and needed to have it replaced twice. Actually, it was technically only once being that I was able to repair the crack on the 2nd. If you have a factory skid on yours, I would just run it as is and save yourself some money :yup:

Eddie, do you think it's worth moving it over to the side to avoid driveshaft contact if you are lifted?

If you're still running a factory rear shaft, you actually have to move it over in order to prevent the slip shaft boot from getting damaged.

Perfect, thanks!

What Eddie said, I didn't move mine and tore my boot, even the weights were hitting:eek: moved it over a tad. Wish I would have done it sooner.
