My 08 wrangler unlimited is about to hit 113k miles. I bought it used so I don't have any transmissions service records. I do know that oil has always been changed every 3k miles and it has been well maintained. Not off roared hard either.
Do you think it is a good idea to get my transmissions serviced? I heard that you really shouldn't mess with it unless there is a problem. For example BMWs you can't even service a transmission, once it goes, it goes.
Or is there anything else you recommend I get serviced or always keep my eye on? I really want this rig to last for another 75k +.
I drive about a thousand miles a month btw. It's a daily driver.
