Cobra 75: Comments & Suggestions

I'm looking to put a Cobra 75 in my 13 TK Unlimited Rubicon. I would only be using it on the trail to communicate with others. Good, bad? If you have pics, I'd like to see some mounting options. TK is stock right now.

I had one and really enjoyed it. When I wasn't using it i unhooked it and stored it in my center console. Great little unit for the trail.

My buddy has one in his two door 08. I think it is a great and convenient little radio. I will say that the audio out put doesnt sound as good as my 510 but that is about it.

I've run these in several of my Jeeps over the years and it works, is compact, doesn't need a whole lot of real estate to install and can be removed/stored away. The sound quality on them sucks, even with an external speaker. Just way too harsh for my ears and there isn't an RF gain to help cut out the noise. Also, you will need an SWR to tune the antenna. Overall, it's a decent CB.
