Get the alignment checked. Excessive toe will chew up your tires.

Well, they aren't perfectly straight.

The factory tie rod had multiple bends right from the factory and they are there to help clear things like your differential. If you've been wheeling, it very well could be bent up, back or even outward depending on what you have done. As mentioned, if your toe-in setting has changed, that would help to confirm what you are suspecting but, I wouldn't waste your money paying for an alignment.
