Pulled my axle shafts not too long ago and noticed a sh*t ton of dirt and grim in the tubes!!! :naw: I know they sell outter axle tube seals but was wondering if they were even worth it...all the research i do seems to conflict....yes....no....gimmick......blah blah. The dirt didn't go passed the inner seals so obviously they are doing their job

It's really not that big of a deal. Outer seals are the only real way to keep out the crap but, I honestly don't know how much it really matters. I have run outers in the past but haven't bother to run them on my current Jeeps.

Awesome thanks Eddie! I figured since nothing made it passed the inners then it wasn't too big a deal. Just figured if I needed them today would be a good day to order

Factory axles just come with inner seals. There is a plastic dust boot on factory shafts but, they do not prevent gunk from going into the front axle tubes.

Ok, I have noticed the plastic boot but didn't really think it helped. Thanks for the fast answer
