Thump in drivers side footwell

I have been hearing and feeling a thump (like a heavy object sliding into the metal behind the kick panel) next to my left foot when making right turns. It doesn't happen all of the time but fairly regular. I checked behind the plastic kick panel and under the carpet near the pedals and I don't see anything that would be moving around. Any ideas what it could be?

Is it a single "thump" as you make your turn or more like a "thump thump thump"?

Okay. Sounds like your frame side track bar bolt may be just loose enough to allow shifting in the mount. I would double check to make sure it's tightened to the proper 125-130 ft. lbs. of torque.
