Sway bar Disconnect Question

If I understand the JK manual correctly, I can only disconnect the sway bar in 4H or 4L. Also, it will try and re-engage above 18 mph. I travel on a lot of washboard roads over 20 mph and in 2WD. Are there methods to override the sway bar disconnect conditions?

Mine will only activate in 4 low under 18mph. Most people are removing the electric actuator and using the evo manual disconnect in its place because the actuator is not as waterproof as jeep claims.
