Soft top question.

Hi all. I have an opportunity to buy an unused soft top from a 2010-2011 model JKU, the type with the cable tensioner. My question is will this fit my 2009 model? The person selling this thinks it would fit all from 2007. Anyone have the cable type fitted to an early JK?

I'm pretty sure as long as you have door surrounds for the same year range soft top you should be good. Don't forget to get to sport cage brackets that mount the bows to the cage, I forgot to get them from the seller when I picked up my soft top. Local dealer had them on hand, about $30.

There is a cable assist top on Quadretec's site that states it would fit from 07-15.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like as long as the kit has all the hardware it will work.
