Help please...Travelling with both Hard and Soft Top

Hi all....I'm traveling down to Arizona from Toronto this week. Just bought the 2013 JK and they told me I have to have the soft top installed. Right now its in the back taking up all my space for luggage. Should I have it installed and leave the hard-top on for the ride down?

I don't think it would hurt anything but even folded down it is still going to take up a good deal of space.

Caught the Bug
It is easy to put on and take off with the hard top off. If you want to travel with both, I would take the soft top off and then you have a little more flexibility for packing it all in. I would unpack the door surrounds and windows, but you will want to protect the windows.
