Those with LOD rear bumper/tire carrier?

So I've had my gen 4 door linked stubby bumper/tire carrier on for a couple weeks now. My only complaint is that grease keeps oozing out from the bottom of where the carrier rides on the spindle. Anyone else have this issue? Every couple days I wipe it off but it just keeps oozing out. Maybe I pumped too much grease in there?

Mine did the same thing and it doesn't stop. Blame it on gravity! Lol
Its a great carrier! Just don't gease it for a while.

My Gen3 Tire Carrier does the same thing especially after greasing. In fact after all the snow it is time to grease it up.

I just wipe it off every time I fuel up

I wonder if a different grease would help? I don't have much knowledge about grease, never needed to, but since a tire carrier isn't spinning like a wheel or axle, you could probably use a thicker type. :idontknow: Maybe even something different like the Teflon based stuff I use on my garage door?
