What Olram30 said. There is NO need to replace your control arms unless you've installed a lift and even at that point, you don't really "need" to replace them. Certainly, you DO NOT want "longer" ones but rather, ones that are adjustable and can be made slightly longer. Depending on how high you go, you may only want to get adjustable front lower arms so that you can set your caster. In the rear, if you get a new drive shaft, you will need adjustable rear upper arms so that you can set your pinion angle. But, that's about all you will need.

With those you won't "need" adjustable lower control arms but they are nice to have. But not required.

With a 3.5" lift you will.
If you were to be installing a 2.5" coil spacer lift that will give you exactly 2.5" of lift, you could get by without ANY new control arms. A lot of people like to get adjustable front lower arms so that they can add back a bit more caster as that will help address your Jeep from feeling flighty at highway speeds. Another thing you should be aware of is that IF you get shocks that provide too much droop, you WILL need to look into getting a new front drive shaft as well. Being that you have a 2009 with an auto, your factory shaft will tear apart the slip shaft boot when it makes contact with your transmission and skid at a full droop.
That being said, if you are looking at 2.5" lift springs, you need to know that MOST will yield way more than 2.5" of lift and especially so on a 2-door. At 3" of lift or more, you really should get adjustable front lower arms to set your caster AND a new front drive shaft AND you should start saving up for a set of adjustable rear upper arms and new rear drive shaft. The steep angle your rear shaft will sit in will cause the CV joints to be in a constant state of pinch and that will cause them to fail prematurely.
