Jeep won't shift!

Was randomly driving today and my tranny kicked down into 1st gear and won't shift any higher!

It will shift into Park,Neutral, and Reverse just fine.



Check engine light came on

Got the following codes:

C121A
Steering angle sensor not initialized

P0750
LR solenoid circuit

Anyone ever have this issue? What am I to expect for repairs?

Assuming you have an automatic, did you check to see what the fluid level is?

Don't think the codes you are getting have anything to do with your transmission.

Checked the fluid and its full. I had the tranny services not long ago and they replaced the filter and fluid

What year JK? If it is a 2012+ any chance it relates to the bump shifting?

It's a 2010 so no bump shifting

Likely went into limp mode because of the codes. Sound like dumb sensor stuff.

Shift solenoid pack is getting replaced. One of the solenoids went bad causing it not to shift
