Dash resetting

On my way to Moab my dash started to reset intermittently. It would chirp and mostly it looked like the speedo would quit and then everything would work again. Any thoughts?

I haven't been able to get to my tools yet but if it was the battery wouldn't all the electronics go off?

No. It's a 10mm socket. Somebody in your group should have one handy.

Ok just curious. I just haven't unpacked so can't get to it. Don't think they are here yet either.

not uf you have a loose ground, it'll ground then unground and reset each time. make sure your grounds ate tight and if you added any, make sure it has good contact.
I've had battery posts where the connector nut was tight but i could still twist the connector on the post.

Loose battery cables. The person that wired my winch put them on the main stud so the spreader nut wouldn't tighten down the clamps.
