Another noob locker question

I am ordering my pro rock 44 and I want to get an arb air locker. My question is if I install my axle and don't install my compressor or anything at the same time will I still able to drive around until I find the time to set up my switches and compressor.
If my understanding is correct my locker won't be engaged and I will be able to drive around. But I am new to lockers and just want to ask to make sure or if any body has any advice or know of any problems I might run in to. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes you will be fine. The locker will not engage until you provide it some air.

Ok thank you that's what I figured. Also is there any kind of hoses or wires that I should install before before putting the axle on or will I be able to do it all after wards
