Possible causes
- Low oil level or motor mechanical fault
- Faulty oil pressure sensor
- Oil Pressure Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Oil Pressure Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
What does this mean? What does this mean?
When is the code detected?
The P0520 is detected when the circuit from oil pressure sensor to PCM is malfunction
Possible symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Oil pressure warning light ON.
P0520 Jeep Description
The PCM continuously monitors the engine oil pressure. The Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch sends a signal to the PCM when the engine is running.

Caught the Bug
Thanks for finding that, I was looking at the "check engine codes 2007 - up" in the JK tech forum, it's not listed in there.

My 2014 JKUS threw this code a couple of weeks ago. I took it in to Casa Jeep Monday 4/27, scheduled fix for Tuesday 4/28 and picked it up today 4/29. Replaced oil sender and didn't even mention AEV ProCal. So far I have had good luck with this dealer.
