Grounding CB Antenna

My CB Antenna is bolted directly to the top of my factory spare tire carrier. I currently have the ground wire attached to one of the mounting bolts for the spare tire carrier and the other end to the frame.

Is that a good ground for the antenna or should the ground wire that is attached to the spare tire carrier bolt be attached directly to the CB Antenna mounting base.

That should be good. My antenna is grounded through the mount to my tire carrier and it works great. What is the issue you are having?

How are the switches going?

Not having any issues, just checking to make sure that a good grounding spot.

I have all the wiring completed and the metal plate formed to the insert. Hoping to epoxy them together in the next few days.

I will post up pics when done, it's gonna look great

If you are not having issues with your CB then I would not worry about it.
