G2 Rear D44 Install Question

So, i have a G2 Rear axle i am swapping into my '12 JKU Sport. I have a Stock Rear Drive Shaft, but the adapter on the new axle is the loops for a U-Joint. How do i bolt up the drive shaft? Do i remove the current adapter and install the stock one? Do i need shims or anything or is it just and easy swap? Thanks for the help!!

You can do that. It's probably better to just buy a new aftermarket u joint style driveshaft though.

I was figuring that, but was trying not to have to fork out the 400 plus right now. Know of any cheaper options?

Also, won't I have to swap out the transfer case yolk?

K, looks like I'm just gonna go with an Adams 1350 rear drive shaft. Oh darn, I have to order more jeep parts... Hehehe..
