Need Opinion On This Deal

I am going to look at a 2008 JKU Rubicon later today and want to get everyone's input on the deal.

2008 JKU Rubicon
88K miles
Manual trans
3.5" lift (do not know brand or specs on lift yet)
35" tires (do not know brand yet, maybe MT/R's by look of the tread)
Hardtop

Has a few other extras, but nothing major that I can see. The guy is asking $21,500

Based on everything I have seen, this is a pretty good deal. Let me know all your thoughts on this deal!

Sounds better than the one I saw in Orlando last week. 2009 rubicon unlimited with 40k miles, 2" lift, and 35's for $39,995.00. The closest dealership sells them brand new for around $45k.

My wife and I have been looking for another jeep. Most 2 doors with 30k+ miles are around $20k and an unlimited (X, Sahara) for around $22k with 80k+ on them

Horrible, buy mine for 36k instead..


I think it's a decent price from what I've been seeing.

Looks almost too good to be true...but yes, the price looks good, especially with the mods. Hopefully you can get the service records as I seem to recall that there was a problem with some sort of transmission oil temperature sensor that year.

Well, the guy sold it about 30 minutes before I was supposed to meet him. It probably was a pretty damn good deal.
