No dash lights, windshield wipers on.

I tried to search but I had no luck. Yesterday I went to drive the jeep for the 3rd time and the following occurred:
No dash lights, at all.
Windshield wipers came on and would not turn off.
No interior dome lights came on with door open.
All other electrical seemed to work I.E. the radio.

I removed the negative terminal on the battery for about 5 minutes and that fixed it, at least for now.
What could have caused this?

If it's still under warranty I would just take it back to the dealership a say fix it.

It is, I just like to be informed when I take it in.

If it happens again Record it with your phone so when you get the "oh we couldn't reproduce the problem" you can show them exactly what is going on.

This isn't always reliable. If they can't reproduce the issue in service he'll probably be told he's doesn't know how to correctly operate his wipers.

I did record it!! And showed trying to turn the wipers off!!

check your multifunction switches needing

This happened to me might want to have them check the multifunction switches because they might need to be replaced.
