2015 Colorado Plateau Epic

Friends, and Jeep owners everywhere are invited to join me for the month of July '15. I am planning a trip across the entire Colorado Plateau (CO, AZ, UT) with the intent of avoiding paved roads. I will be stopping at nine National Parks and more than four National Monuments. The trip (Colorado Plateau Epic Adventure) will cover about three weeks of travel. If anyone of you or friends you know are interested to meet along the way or drive the whole trip, please leave a message below. I've been planning this for months and am at the point to share my experience.

I will post updates below.

Trip starts 08 Jul with the first night of camping at Great Sand Dunes NP.

Trip ends ~21-22 Jul in Colorado Springs.

Great Tour

Our family did the 2nd leg of your tour last summer. We went Yosemite to Ouray, going thru death valley and Utah. You will be amazed by the scenery. Take it slow and enjoy!

My family will return to SW Colorado July 27th thru Aug 3rd. We will haunt the Alpine loop and Moab for a week. Can't wait!!!

Well Adventure1 is all packed up and ready to go. 14 days of food and water, some clothes, beer and more recovery gear than I could have ever imagined.

Spent most of yesterday getting some old man out of a mud hole. Put me a day behind but I finally made it to Ouray/telluride. Also hwy 149 was shutdown so I had to take a huge detour.

Leaving Denver tomorrow for Dinosaur National Monument. We'll be in Capitol Reef Monday - Thursday. Then Brice, Zion, North Rim, South Rim, Antelope Canyon, Mesa Verde, Great Sand Dunes.

Dbreggin- sorry I went the other direction. I just came into the back way of Canyonland NP last night. Jeeping Moab today/Friday. Went 50hrs without signal.
