Hey guys im having trouble trying to get the body lines to match up. If i get them really close by clamping the crap out of it i get a gap up top. If i let up not trying to get the lines to match up the gap closes up top but then the lines dont match up.

I've had no specific experience with these skins (although I do plan on purchasing them for my 2 door) but with a few other skins, armor and corners I've helped install its all a game of getting it the best you can. The bodys got alot of curves and lines to match up with, I don't know how well the evo corners fit but with a bunch of other brands you just get them the best you can or even out all the gaps and such around them and run it.

From what I can see there, if you line up the corner with the body lines, you get a gap from the top? I'd leave it like that and just fill the top with silicone personally.

I would make sure the top of the skin is straight and same measurement front and back. Also grind down the little bumps by the tail lights. Takes time to get them perfect.

That's about as thought as you can get them. With in 1/8"
Fill the rear with silicone.

Good point, I believe mine where around 7/8" down across the hardtop. I took a hammer and smacked those tabs down. Not like I'm ever going back. :)

Did you guys have to trim out the gas fill area? Notice how the skin is further foward than the sheet meteal.

Well i got one side done. I spun one nutsert and had to weld it. Aside from a couple screws not sitting perfectly flat it looks good.

Another thing I would do, is make the holes for the lights a little larger than the opening. Makes getting the rubber grommet in easier.

They do suck man. My holes were drilled perfectly but i over tightened a couple nutserts making them slightly crooked.

Yeah they suck. I got mine re powdercoated and it was a pain to reinstall even though the nutserts were already in. I over tightened one and got lucky and was able to hold it with channel locks on the other side.

Holy crap i just finished up with the other side. Both sides are finally done. I can believe it took me this long. I have to admit that was more of a bitch than i thought it would be.

Look at the bright side, now you get to remove them and paint them then reinstall. :D
