Hard top plastic smell

For those who have a factory hard top, do you all notice that the hard top smells too much like plastic or is it just me? :hmm: I have been driving around the past couple of months without my hard top on but decided to put it back on yesterday to free up some garage space. When I got in my Jeep this morning...there was a faint, but noticeable plastic smell...tends to get a little worse when it sits out in the sun when i'm at work. Anyone else have this "problem" and know how to go about getting rid of it? Thanks

I did... My fix was getting rid of the hardtop.

I notice it, but I kinda like it because it drowns out the other "bad" smells. Febreeze car fresheners work good. But the plastic smell seems to go away after the hardtop has been on for a while

I drive around with the windows open and the freedom top off a lot. It does suck getting in right after work to that smell... but its gone in a few minutes. Sot top for next summer!

I consider it "new car scent". Kinda like it in a weird way.
