Drag link issue

I replaced the tie rod end on my drag link. It seemed to be a little longer and I couldn't get it screwed in enough by maybe 2 or 3 threads. Now my turning radius isn't right. Is this because of the extra threads or something else. Plus I can't really adjust my steering wheel correctly.

Had an issue on my CJ just like this. 1-2 threads made a large difference. Are you hitting the adjuster at full turn?

Finally had somebody to help me. The tensioning bolts on the steering adjustment for the drag bar were on top and hitting the sway bar motor. Adjusted them down and no issues.
