My dealer offered me 100% trade in value recently for my '11 on a '13.

You know they would have turned around and asked more than that on their used car lot.

Used prices on JK's around here are crazy,

When I got My JKU sport in October, I originally went to get a used JK but a 2012 JKU soft top was 500.00 less than a 2013 JKU with a hard top, blue tooth, sat. radio, and Upgraded sound system. And my 2013 had 13 miles on it instead of the 12,500 on the 2012.

Yeah I would say they have a great resale value.

Yup! Every time i looked for used 07-10 JKUs i would see how i could get a 13 for a few thousand more with an improved motor and tranny. No brainer! Sold my 2007 sahara for the same amount i bought it for a year later(minus the 2k in mods). For that, Jeep, I am thankful!

Because of this I keep thinking about trading mine in for a 4 door. I would love a '12 rubi unlimited but not sure its worth it.

I wish I had the good luck of all the previous posters, but as of last July I would take a huge hit on the trade in value of my '11. I'm talking about over 10k in depreciation, mostly because of the mileage.
Maybe it will be worth another try. I have my eye on the 10th anniversary Rubicon!!!
