Insurance for my Jeep

I was wondering what insurance people carry and if it covers Off-road as well ?
I just read Geico will not cover the vehicle if it is off-road

every insurance policy is different I carry USAA. for both of my jeeps and home owners as well.

But most all insurance companies will cover if off roading if the vehicle is built (by the Manufacturer) for that purpose.

American Family they do not service cali though will cover if the vehicle is damaged off roading.

That is interesting. Having worked for GEICO in their claims department for a few years, I never did hear about a claim being denied for simply off-loading. Strange.

Most insurers cannot set limits like that if they want to stay competitive. Are you sure it was not the additional insurance you purchase when you rent a vehicle? I know that also that it might refer to road side assistance.

I would shop with another carrier. I never did like GEICO, the reason I left.
