Another Dana Ultimate Thread

Couple things for those of you that have installed them:

On the front diff cover there are two plugs. One is about 2" above the other. Which is the fluid fill level? I called Spicer tech line and he said the lower but didn't sound very confident in his response. I just want to here what others have been told.

Also, the two wires stubbed out for the lockers. This person told me one is for 12V input and the other is the signal wire for the light on the dash. Since I don't have a Rubi he said I'll only run 12V to the correct wire and do nothing with the other. He said it will get ground through the chassis. Is this true?

the lower hole is the fill level, upper hole you use to fill it until it runs out the lower. if you notice, the lower hole is aligned just about 1/2 way on the axle tubes.
correct on the switch, 12v power, if you get a switch with an LED you can wire the light or wire a separate led light to indicate when the axle is locked
