Just wanted to say "hey" to folks here. I came across the WAL Youtube channel as I was shopping for a JK earlier this year and thought I'd subscribe to the forum to connect with more Jeepers.
I used to spend time on co4x4.org (my handle there is BoulderTJ, though the TJ is long gone) and did a few trails with the crew from traildamage.com years back.
I've been a huge fan of Jeeps for years. The first vehicle I ever drove was an M151A2 surplus Jeep (age 13) and I was in the U.S. Army when the HMMWV was introduced. I was part of the convoy from my unit that drove all the Jeeps to the dump. That was a sad, sad day.
I've owned 4 Jeeps (1 YJ, 1 TJ, 1 XJ and now a JK Unlimited Rubicon). I only modded the TJ but plan to do some work on the JK. I typically do my own work since it's a fun diversion and pretty different from what I do for a living (software engineering).
