So 2 days ago I needed a 1/2 socket to install the rear d ring mounts, so naturally I go to a friends house to borrow one!
Well all goes well for the driver side mount, then I get to the passenger side and FINALLY get the wing nut through and on the bolt, I then resume to go put on the forward bolt and get it on no problem then go reach for the nut.... But there's a problem I couldn't find it anywhere.. Drove to the friends house couldn't find it, drove to work couldn't find it...
After hours of looking I decided to run to Home Depot to look for a replacement, unfortunately they didn't have the correct sizes for just about anything, then while I am at work my step-father decides to go through my tracks to the friends house and looks for it (mind you the friend lives a few blocks away) so while driving he just so happened to see something shinning about 1/3 of the way to his house, pulls over and what do you know.. It's the nut I had lost.
Defiantly owe that man!
