Don't think this has been posted yet.

Everyone with an UConnect enabled head unit needs to go to their local dealership and get this TSB done NOW

What Chrysler doesn't tell you in that release is one of the things this update fixes is the ability for someone to take complete control over your Jeep via the UConnects cellular connection

you could also download and install the update yourself if you are so inclined

Tells me there are no updates. May only affect the older uconnect systems.

This code update from FCA was released on July 16th. All uconnect models are likely affected.

Caught the Bug
After putting in my VIN# on the website, it says no update for my '14 with the 430N?

It's because I believe wranglers aren't affected, at least not the newer ones. I believe it's only the even newer models of uConnect they stock in things like the Grand Cherokee. Keep in mind the models, even the newest, in the Wranglers are old piles of hot garbage.

My bet is it's the models with uConnect Access.

Caught the Bug
As I suspected, this doesn't affect us...

After becoming aware of the vulnerabilities in some 2013 and 2014 vehicles equipped with the 8.4 inch touchscreen systems, FCA and several suppliers worked to fix the vulnerabilities in model year 2015 vehicles. FCA also created a software update that eliminates the vulnerabilities uncovered by Miller and Valasek in their laboratory tests. This software update is available to customers right now and can be downloaded to a USB drive from http://www.driveuconnect.com/software-update/ and installed in a vehicle.

...

The vehicles listed below that have a 8.4 inch touchscreen radio system need this software update:

2013-2014 Ram 1500 Pickup
2013-2014 Ram 3500 Cab Chassis
2013-2014 Ram 2500 Pickup
2013-2014 Ram 4500/5500 Cab Chassis
2013-2014 Ram 3500 Pickup
2014 Grand Cherokee
2014 Durango
2013-2014 Viper
2014 Cherokee
Some 2015 Chrysler 200s
