Tie Rod Recommendations?
I've been noticing a bit of slop in my steering recently and today while under the Jeep I took a pair of channel locks to the TREs on both ends of the Tie Rod and Drag link. The ends on the drag link were solid, however, the driver's side TRE on the tie rod had quite a bit of up/down moment when squeezed. The passenger side also moved, but not quite as much. The Jeep is just over a year old with 19,000mi, but I'm sure the 37" Nittos haven't helped!
I'm leaning towards a Currie tie rod, but was just curious of opinions on other brands. I like the idea of the replaceable joints and just the overall reputation of their products (same reason I went with Dynatrac balk joints).
I know their rod is a bit pricey, but the last thing I want to do is be replacing the TR again in another couple of years.
