Just curious, is there an official cb channel for Jeeps? Trucker use 19, emergency use 9... How bout an official trail channel.

This was discussed on another forum I belong to. The result: there are a few "official" channels (none of which I can remember) .. I just put my CB on "scan" - that way i don't miss anything.. When I'm on the trail we always choose a channel (my favorite is 13) and move up or down one if it's too busy.

Around here it is channel 4.

I think it just depends on your group. I was told 4x4= channel 16. It was clever enough for me to use it.
