Removing Front brake line brackets

Any one have any advice or ways to remove the front brake line brackets? I have a 2.5in lift and no need for the stock bracket that's on the line. It's crimped on there so I was just thinking I had to use vice grips to pry it off but any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

I used a pair of vise grips to grab and hold the bracket and then used a pair of channel locks to grap onto the bracket from the other side and pried it open. In using the channel locks I hooked one of the first few teeth on the bracket and was able to roll the bracket open basically. Had to do it a couple of times down the length of the bracket to get it opened up enough to get the line out. Wasn't too hard really.

I used a cutting wheel too. A while back I ran into a video (i think) of where someone just took some channel locks to the bracket, while it was still bolted on, and bent it open. Might be worth a try.
