Trip to KOH 2016?

I'd be interested in traveling out and seeing the racing at King of The Hammers in early 2016. Has anyone from the East Coast (or other parts that are too far to drive) made the trip via air? if so, What did you find was the best way to account for sleeping arrangements, transportation, etc?

I would like to put together a trip for some of the East Coast WAL guys and make the trek. Any thoughts or advice (that is helpful...) would be appreciated.

Kicking this back up to the top. Any input would be appreciated. I think it would be awesome to meet some of the West coast members there.

I always have friends from Ohio fly out, they usually rent a RV in LA and drive it out.

Would LAX or John Wayne be the choices for close airports? Any idea where they rent the RV's?

I would fly into ontario airport be a lot closer
