Where's best spot in wheel wells to mount Rock LED strip lights.

Caught the Bug
Title kiinda says it all. I have some LUX LED strip lights (megnetic type) that I'm wanting to mount in wheel wells, one per wheel well. Where's the best location to mount them for best lighting results.

Not sure if the should be mounted high in wheel well or say like botton front edge of top spring perch.

I have some small scrap metal I can epoxy to any location that is covered by plastic if need be.

I don't use rock lights myself, but seems to me if you put them IN the wheel wells, they would get covered in mud/etc and you risk hitting them when your tire is stuffed. The ones I've seen on other vehicles are mounted on the frame or sliders but point toward the wheels.

I have 2 under front bumper, 2 on each side, and 2 under rear fascia so 8 rock lights total. I think you will just create big shadows putting them in the wheel wells. Here is what mine looks like.

Here's mine. I have 2 under front bumper, 2 down each side, and 2 in the back.

I mounted my fronts on the front lower mount for the fenders. The rears are right next to the pinch seam. My fenders are cut and not running rear inner fenders, though.
