Regearing questions

Recommendations for gears when I'm looking to run 38s and what's the average price for regearing more or less? I have 3.21 gears ATM with 35s

I'd go with 5.13s if you want more power. 4.88s if you want to try to preserve a little gas mileage.

That being said, why do you want 38s and not a more common size like 37s. Is that inch really going to make a difference?

Damn! Do you have the 3.6 or 3.8? Honestly it might make a 1 mpg difference if that.

I will also add that if you have a Dana 30 front I advise you stick to 4.88s since your front Ring and Pinion will be small and become a weak point.

I have a 3.6 and yeah I'm on Dana 30s

If you're planning to run 38s your gas mileage will probably be what you have now with 4.88s
with a 38 tire on a D30 definitely would not go 5.13s
