P0406 egr valve code

I just threw a p0406 code... Im almost in canada and cleared it with my bully dog, I have run different gas in the mid west through nebraska and wyoming, a tank of 85, 87, 87 pure and two tanks of 91 pure... Could this be the cause? I havent changed anything but that....

It's likely an EGR valve, but take it into a shop to be sure. If you cleared it and code hasn't reset quickly, it may not be a hard fault.

It may stay off for awhile which is what mine did when reset. Eventually it may come back on. In the end I just replaced the egr valve and then it went away for good. Not the easiest job though, not much space to work on it at the back of the engine
