Hood Dimensions

Before anyone goes accusing me of being lazy :whew: ... I am at school right now a plane ride away from my jk so I can't just go out and measure my hood.


I am looking to get the hood dimensions the stock hood off a 2008 jku. I just got some hood damage and instead of replacing the hood or getting it fixed I was considering buying a Daystar Hood Cowl to cover it up. Just wanted to make sure it is going to cover up the majority or all of the damage.

Google a picture of the daystar cowl to see how much it will cover. There are tons of pictures to give you a view of the coverage. I'm on mobile otherwise I would post the picture here.

I've tried that couldn't find that great of a picture but I'll double check again. I have the dimensions of the hood cowl so I was just going to do the math.
